Blogging Apologies

I had previously mentioned that more blog posts were on the way and clearly I haven't posted much since saying that. So I very much need to apologize to anybody who was looking forward to that. I know there are people out there who look forward to my posts and I've been really lacking lately.

There is good reason for not having been posting much lately. I've been focusing more on my livestreaming because it feels more like being on the radio and is plainly more fun for me. That doesn't mean I don't like writing and posting. Just that I prefer talking. I once had a dream of being a radio broadcaster but I decided not to go into that profession because I didn't like the idea of moving around all the time to get a better job... I don't know if that's absolutely true or not, but that's what they told us during the meet-and-greet sort of thing.

So I'm not going to make any promises about posting more, but I will let you know that you can honestly expect to see much more of me being live in the future. Even if we're only live for an hour or two every couple days, you'll be able to come and hang out during that time and see what's new in the world.

With that being said, I did recently lose my job, so I definitely have more time on my hands that I need to keep productive. We'll see what comes out of that.

Stay safe and healthy everybody. We'll talk again soon! ^_^

New Job, New Routine, New Friends

Hey everyone! If you haven't heard, I have a new job! Unfortunately my new job has be being extremely exhausted after work most days which makes it quite difficult to do much of anything... including my blogging. Now, I truly do enjoy typing and sharing my stories with the world, but when you're so tired that you can't even bring yourself to spend some time typing for a bit is quite something.

For anybody wondering, I'm now working at the Thunder Creek Pork Plant in Moose Jaw. Historically, I haven't done MUCH for physical work. Instead, I've done a lot of cashiering and customer servicing and whatnot of that type... this work requires much more lifting and using of the arm muscles that I haven't had much of previous to now. So as a result, I end up being quite tired and sore at the end of the day especially given the fact that I have to get up by 5:00 AM at the latest if I want to have enough time to comfortably get ready for work in the morning.

So how crazy is that? I still like to stay up much later than I probably should whether or not I have to get up so early in the morning... though I find that because what I do for by entire work day is pick up and move meat around, I don't exactly need to be in the best mood and super awake and all that. Basically I still like to stay up late and watch shows and YouTube and Twitch and things, but I often don't have the energy or willpower to get anything else done while I'm here.

Luckily with this new job and new routines around it, I've surprisingly managed to find new friends! Never did I ever think I would find people that I would get along with working in a pork plant of all things, but strangely enough there are people there who enjoy joking around and even playing games outside of work. I've been needing to find new friends to game with for quite a while now and suddenly finding people I can chat about games with and play games with is such a rush that I haven't had for quite a while now. I finally feel like I have interesting things to talk about again!

So for the time-being I'm looking for an office job to take advantage of my schooling and get a higher pay to better support the family, but in the mean-time I'm much happier than I ever thought I'd be working in a cold pork plant. It's definitely something to get us by for now that I can stick with if I for some reason can't find what I'm looking for in an office. With that, wish me luck in my continuing search and let us see if we can get back on track with everything we're wanting to do.

In the mean time, have a great day everyone! ^_^

I Lost My Job With HGS

So for those of you who aren't aware, I lost my job. Crazy, right? I know!

I've had a lot of time to reflect on things with all of this unexpected spare time I now have which as led me to come to some realizations about working from home: Though it is convenient to be able to work from home and not require a second car, the scheduling is quite difficult to deal with. When I first started working for HGS (or Rogers as per my position), the scheduling was fine. I was able to schedule myself for 12-hour days earning myself much overtime and giving myself more time to spend with Carley and Isabelle because I'd have three whole days off! Every once in a while things would change a bit with how much hours were offered, but for the most part it was pretty consistent; then things changed.

It was around December when things went sour for a bit with myself and Carley. Between December, January, and February I used up all of my sick days by being depressed and not wanting to go to work. You'd be surprised how much an event like that could make a person not want to work even when working is as easy as walking downstairs and sitting at a computer where you never meet a person face-to-face. Luckily I was able to get through that and there was still plenty of hours to work at the right times that I pulled through. Being able to schedule yourself for 12-hour days at that point is quite nice for dealing with a situation like that where you need as many days off as possible.

After that event everything was good again and continued on quite well up until Carley got her job. Now I was (and still am) quite proud that she managed to find a job working at a care home and found what it is that she wants to do with herself moving forward into the future career-wise. The hard part with that is transitioning into having two full-time working parties in a relationship; this wouldn't be so bad if there were no child involved, but we do have a lovely little girl to take care of as well. So our little Isabelle needed to be enrolled in full-time daycare and we had to coordinate ourselves to having Carley working evenings (right up until 11:00 PM) and getting Isabelle to daycare as early as possible the next day (6:45 AM) so that I could then work during the time she'd be at daycare and then be done in time to pick her up. Now that would be perfect if not for two problems...

1) I'd have to schedule myself to start at 6:30 AM to be "done" by 3:00 PM. Now when I say DONE, what I mean is, I'd be done *IF* I didn't get a phone call that would last beyond that time. Of course if you get a phone call, you can't just hang up on a person and that call could potentially go overtime by an hour or more if it was a customer with a lot of questions or possibly an angry customer who wanted escalate to a manager. Hence, I had to be "done" by 3:00 PM to ensure I would have enough time to go get Isabelle before daycare is closed.

2) The part where I had to schedule myself for 6:30 AM. Carley is sleeping because of how late she was working and then able to get to bed after finally getting home late at night, and daycare doesn't open until 6:45 AM. Now we did manage to transition into being able to deal with this with Carley able to get up to take Isabelle then come back and go back to sleep (naturally there would be a bit of an adjustment period when not being used to working shifts like this).

There was a bit of another problem as well which sort of started to come up, but we didn't quite get around to that before I was let go. Carley was hired to work evenings at her care home, but wasn't being given consistent days to work, her schedule came out late, and she was starting to get a couple random day shifts; not too much of a problem... except where I'm working 7 days a week early in the morning to fit in all my required hours and there's no daycare on weekends. See the problem with that? Not able to just leave Isabelle locked in her room for a few hours while she's awake, huh?

So they let me go because I missed enough days and was late enough times that they felt it necessary to do... followed by immediately posting jobs to hire more employees. Now... I understand what happened and that it's obviously not great to be late so often and miss so much work, but the combination of knowing that I put out good scores in my work each month (amazing scores even), but then they're fire me due to absence and then immediately want to hire more people... hurts a little. I'm alright with it, and I've certainly learned my lesson from it; we need to work together to make sure everything is covered between us and care for our child.

So... now we're here. I have no job right now. Little update on Carley is that she's now working a new job as a housekeeper at a hotel which is a bit less pay and a bit less hours, but it's CONSISTENT hours. You really don't realize how important it is to have such consistent hours as a parent until you start having two working persons, requiring daycare, and having to coordinate with each other to get everything to work properly.

Wish me luck everybody as I figure out what to do with myself and how to get there. There's much job-hunting going on and I'm looking to keep myself busy while keeping the house in order during the time that I have.

A Working Family - Carley Got A Job!

Okay, so if you've somehow been living under a rock and are not aware of such recent events, then now is your time to find out that Carley... Got a job! Finally we are a fully working family.

I'll be honest, I was starting to think that maybe Carley wouldn't get a job, or would at least have to settle for crummy part-time minimum-wage job. I'm not really sure what it is... for some people it's really easy to get a job and for other people (myself included), getting a new job is a process that takes months upon months of constant applying to everything that a person may or may not have qualifications for. It's insane to me how hard it can be even to get a minimum-wage job while being totally qualified for everything being applied for.

So with a large amount of perseverance, my wife, the house cleaner and child a reader of the century, gotten herself a job in a retirement home as a care aide. This makes complete sense to me; she has always had a soft spot in her heart for the elderly, even more of a soft spot then she has for children. Now she gets to help care for the elderly and tells me nearly every night about how much she loves what she does and how good she is at it... I mean seriously, she's already training new people to do the things she just learned to do and getting things done that nobody else has been able to get done in a looong time.

I have to say, I couldn't be more proud of Carley for not only finding herself a job, but for finding one that she's great at and really enjoys being there for. I could see her making a career out of what she's doing now even more than I could with childcare. I really think this is something amazing for our family and a great start to something new that will open up many opportunities as we more forward and grow our family.

Everybody, please join me in congratulating Carley Welykholowa on her new job, and wishing her tons of good luck and good fortune as we work towards our next goal.

One-Year Content Production Challenge =1=

Finally the anticipation can be put to rest and you are about to find out what it is that's going to be happening in the coming months. I've been wanting to make something good out of the content I create on my blog, YouTube, and Twitch for some time now, but something always distracts me or gets in the way. So, in the spirit of my content hero whom I watch all the time who goes by LethalFrag online, I have decided I am going to do a one-year content production challenge.

I would love to commit to this being specifically a live-streaming challenge, but unfortunately I'm just not so sure at this point whether or not that would be possible; so instead I'm committing to content production. I will do my best to live-stream as often as possible throughout, but when I'm unable to do so, I'll at least make a blog post every day. If you're ever interested in checking everything that's been done, I'll keep a daily list with links on a page called One-Year Content Production Challenge.

Will this be difficult to find the time to do something every day even if it's just a simple post saying "Hi" for the day? Yes, absolutely... but I need something personal to keep myself busy and really show that this hobby of mine is something important that I put a lot of effort into. I know it can be great if only I put in the real effort to do so. Have I talked to Carley about this? No... she'll be finding out about this as she reads it just like everybody else. (Sorry babe)

Perhaps this entire idea will be a huge flop, but hey... we're in a time when finding a new job is quite difficult and I do have the time to keep up with this even if I sometimes don't think I really do. I appreciate each and every one of you who support me through this and I welcome all of your criticism on how I can make everything better in the future. Keep an eye out for daily updates on news, gaming, personal projects, reviews of movies, food, and much more.

As usual, you're all fantastic, and I hope you all have the best days ever! ^_^

=== Getting Laid ===

A few weeks ago, I found myself getting laid... off from my job. While that's certainly something you don't expect to see coming, I wasn't totally surprised due to some other people getting laid off previously as well. At this point I'm still looking for a new job, but strangely I think we're doing better now than we were doing before. We finally have all of our bills paid including our credit card and we still have some money to spare for groceries and gas and whatnot.

This is a situation we didn't actively plan for, but now that we find ourselves in this position, we surprisingly aren't as worried as we had expected we would be. The craziest thing for me right now is that I'm having so much more time to see my sweet Isabelle than before. I'm learning new things about her that I didn't know before and watching her grow and start to do things that she wasn't able to before either. It's amazing to be able to watching all of this happening from the comfort of my own home... rather than for only half an hour every morning and an hour each evening.

I've become a stay-at-home dad at this point. Honestly, I didn't really think it would be so difficult to keep up with all the daily housework and things that have to get done. On one hand, I'm exhausted and worn out and I don't want to keep doing anything, but on the other hand, I'm getting things done and getting the house slowly organized and it feels great! I think I might be a little bit sad that I'm going to have to go back to work at some point (preferably sooner rather than later).

One thing I would like so say is that I have no hard feelings towards Boardwalk at all. That's unfortunately just a part of business sometimes. I would still work for them if a favourable opportunity presented itself, but I will admit that I am enjoying a bit of time off where I can do some other things for a bit including paying a bit more attention to this here blog. I have big plans you guys, big plans. Much to do, much to do. Everything will come together in no time and soon enough you'll be reading about me almost every day! (Or maybe not, who knows? :P )

=== Spring Semester ===

If you've never taken Spring classes at school, then oh my goodness... let me tell you about how different this semester is compared to last semester. My previous semesters have been much MUCH slower than this one. I didn't realize it at first, but I already have midterms coming up in about a week and my finals are only about a month later. I have assignments due almost every day with not much of a break between each one.

It's definitely been really hard to keep up with everything and still help out around the house and with the baby. I want to be able to do a great job at work and around the house and with school all at the same time, but instead I think I'm tiring myself out and not doing an amazing job of anything. It's a tough position to be in; I know I want to do so much that I wouldn't sleep if I didn't have to, but I simply don't have enough energy to accomplish everything I want to do at this time.

As an example: my blog. I have hopes and dreams and goals of wanting to post things at least every couple days in an effort to grow my site and viewers and also as a way of sharing myself with the world in a way which could possibly benefit others. Instead, I see myself only posting maybe once a week at best and the rest of the time I sit in front of my computer after work and fall asleep until I finally drag myself to bed. This unfortunately happens with homework some days as well.

Combined with the busy-ness of how work has been at this time of the year, I can certainly say I'm looking forward to after June once I'm done with 99% of school. I'm looking forward to finally having time to think without feeling guilty that I'm not constantly working.

Have a great day everybody! ^_^

Almost Two Weeks Already.

It's hard to believe it has already been nearly two weeks since the birth of our daughter. Personally I'm not a fan of all the crying and loud noises, but so far it hasn't been TOO bad. I think Carley and I are starting to get a sort of rhythm going. Surely there will be much more challenges to come, but at the moment, I think we're doing pretty well.

Both of us have been on and off tired at different times and let me tell you... when you have a baby, there isn't much time to have everything planned out like you may have used to do. I like to plan things out and get things done at certain times, so on, and so forth. Now... I try to get everything I'm hoping to done during the quiet times that I have until the next time I hear that familiar crying sort of whining thing. It's not all cries and awful noises though, she's really not all that bad. I'm absolutely looking forward to days when she's more communicative and talkable and things.

The best news is that Furgle is amazing with her. He likes to sniff her a lot and get his nose right up in her face, but he doesn't lick her too much or try to bite at her and things. He still likes to hang around with us and normally isn't too much of a pain. Carley takes him out for a walk almost every day because she's trying to get back into shape and healthy before having her jaw surgery and then doing this process all over again. Furgle is definitely still our baby and will continue to be as long as we have him.

I'm glad it seems like we've figured out something that works for all of us before my finals for this semester and the start of next semester. With work, school, and our daughter, it's certainly a lot of work to handle each and every day, but it's all working towards getting what we need for our family. Soon enough I'll be able to start applying for a better-paying job so we won't have to live so tightly when it comes to spending.

We'll get there for sure, it's only a waiting game now. Have a great day everybody! ^_^

5 Days Until Moving Day!

For anybody who hasn't heard, Carley and I are moving out of our apartment which is currently falling apart. We take possession of our new house on the 25th at 11:00am. How exciting it is that we'll actually have a nice space of our own that we won't have to be embarrassed about inviting our family over to. Once we get some unpacking done, we have plans to invite some friends over for table top game nights, and we have plans to invite family over to visit and have supper.

Maybe it sounds a little bit silly, but one of the things I'm most excited about is that we'll finally have access to fiber optics, so we won't be stuck on the awfully slow internet speed we're on currently. I'll finally be able to spend some time gaming with my friends without lagging out of everything. I'll be able to upload videos during the day so I won't have to waste so much power by leaving my computer on over night and while I'm gone to work. Also, if I can find the time to, I'll be able to live-stream once again!

Now that I'm done my spiel on how excited I am for technological reasons... I think Carley and I are going to be super happy having a place of our own which isn't falling apart. We'll finally be able to have everything nice and organized just how we'd like it. There'll be a play room in the basement, a room for us and a room for Isabelle, an office space for us, and a nice backyard that we can actually use including a garden (if I can ever figure out how to grow a plant without killing it).

I'm quite happy to be moving soon, and I think Carley is too, but she's also a little overwhelmed; she really doesn't like moving. Thankfully, this place will finally be a long-term place. We're already pretty much packed up; just have to pack dishes, the washroom, and food on the last day. Obviously we'll have to take apart the desks as well, but there's not much else to do besides that. We just have a ton of boxes filling our living room at the moment.

Besides the excitement of moving, I've been at my new job for a little over a month now and I'm absolutely loving it. Working a salary is WAY better than working hourly; especially since my coordinator is so freaking awesome. I feel like I'm getting the hang of things quickly and she thinks so too.

I still wish I could make a little more money on the side somehow, but I'm not really sure how I would go about that besides my long-term plan to maybe one day make a bit of money off my videos on YouTube and Twitch. I guess I'll just have to keep on making videos for now and we'll see where things go in the future. In any case, it's super fun for me to do and I hope others enjoy what I do as well.

Better Than Bottom of the Barrel.

I've just started a new job two weeks ago. So far, I think it's fantastic; I get to answer phones and enter hours and do whatever other office things and such. It's pretty fun for me so far. There's a lot to learn already which is pretty overwhelming, but I'm sure I can survive and continue here for quite a while. I think the most trouble I'm having so far is that we don't have a proper trainer. I do think we're learning things pretty well, but we're actually supposed to have a mentor to shadow us for some time rather than an associate who also has to keep up with her own work.

Regardless of that, I feel like I'm capable of doing what is needed of me so far. I think it's really just a matter of doing the work on a regular basis and getting to know how everything works. I think in time, things will make more and more sense as I use the system, solve problems and complete required tasks. Everything seems to be quite organized around here, I just have to learn where everything is.

I'm looking forward to continuing to work here in the future and learning to do a great job of what they need. It really makes me happy to finally be working somewhere that pays more than minimum wage and rather than being an atmosphere of "do everything faster", it's an atmosphere of "do what you need to please the customer" (even if it takes an hour). At least... that's what it seems like to me.

Both excitement and overwhelmed nervousness flow throughout me right now. I need to figure out how to properly reallocate my time so that I don't feel so rushed and short on time. I think the future looks good.

Have a wonderful day everybody! ^_^

August Update

It's the beginning of August. I've found a full-time job and school is coming up soon. We're making our payments for rent and catching up on our bills. I think things are going well. The real challenge will be balancing work and school and still finding just a little bit of time to do my own things every once in a while.

I don't feel like I have a ton of time to myself these days. I always feel busy. I really can't imagine how I'm going to feel once I have to devote time to schoolwork and whatnot; surely I'll survive though.

In other news, Carley's gecko Ryker has started moving around more again. He's much more interesting when he actually leaves his rock and does things. Really makes me want to get a puppy, but I suppose I'll just have to continue getting my dog-fix through work for now. I'm sure we plan on getting a Shih Tzu once we're ready and I also have a goal to get an American Eskimo one day in the future.

I may have to be alright with moving out of the city and onto an acreage to be able to get all the dogs I want plus rescuing a few. That might mean awful internet out in the country if we go ahead with that idea, but that's thinking for quite some time into the future. I'm sure we'll figure out what we want to do when the time comes.

It's been so long!

So I haven't updated my blog in like half a month now. I got so busy planning and taking care of Carley's birthday and searching for a new job that I just haven't really been able to do much of anything like this recently. I'm so sorry to anybody who enjoys reading about my thoughts and activities. I have missed doing this as of late.

Carley's birthday was a huge success! She absolutely loved it! It makes me so happy to know that this most important birthday of hers went well. We stayed at a hotel and did all sorts of fun activities including somewhere around ten games of Laser Quest each. We're now members seeing as we find it so much fun that we would love to go quite a bit more often if possible.

Following the success of the birthday, I spent the next little while figuring out and executing on a plan we made for myself to move back in with Carley. Seeing as we've been just a little bit short on funds recently, we figured it would be a good idea to move in together again. It'll be a great way to save money and a huge load of stress off of the both of us which can only help to move our relationship in the right direction.

I've been learning a lot about Carley including how to handle her and help her when she's feeling stressed. We've also learned how to communicate much better than before. Things are looking pretty good. Obviously we're still a little bit stressed at the moment, but that should go away once the last of the moving is done. I have my little computer space all set up as evidenced by the fact that I'm sitting here using it. All we have left to do is get things into our storage space.

Go out and be awesome everybody! ^_^

Sometimes I'm a little tired, but I still make great food.

I don't know why, or what causes it. Some days I'm just so exhausted and I have no idea why. Yesterday for instance, I didn't do all that much. It was a pretty lazy day compared to others... but by 11:30, I was so incredibly tired. Maybe I'm not eating enough meat and vegetables...

Speaking of vegetables, I actually decided to cook for myself last night. Usually when making food for just myself, I tend to only make simple foods for myself like spaghetti and hot dogs. Sometimes I make sidekicks as well. But last night I made steak, asparagus, and noodles; It was wonderful. I hardly ever make actual meals like that for myself, so I have to admit, I'm quite proud of myself for putting in the effort to do so. I didn't do anything special with any of the food other than the asparagus which I put in the oven and melted some grated cheese over.

Other than that, I don't have much else to update about my goings on recently. I'm still looking for either another job or a replacement job depending on the hours and pay. Clearly I haven't been posting too much recently, so I'll have to get on top of that again. To date I have successfully completed one gig on Fiverr which has made me $5 or so. And finally I am only one follower away from having 50 followers on Twitch! Yay me! :D

So until next time, have a wonderful day all you people out there! You're all wonderful and I love each and every one of you who takes the time to keep up with my blog and other things. ^_^

I'm mostly living a comfortable life.

I have to say, I'm feeling awesome. I still need another job to make me feel more secure on the money front, but besides that, I'm doing quite well. I have a comfortable home and people who love and care about me, and I have time to do hobbies and things I want to do rather than only work at all points in time.

I'm thinking that once I get another job I might start baking in my spare time for funzies. I do like baking believe it or not. More so when it's for other people as well. Besides that, I'm hoping to be able to find more time to sing a couple songs to post on YouTube, and I'm wanting to take more time to stream because I'm really enjoying meeting new people to talk to and entertaining them.

More good days ahead! Keep being awesome everybody! ^_^

Yay Job Interview!

Just had a job interview today; I think it went quite well! It's always hard to tell whether or not an interview goes well, so here's hoping that I did well enough to land the job. It would be a lovely full-time job that would pay my rent and more, putting me in a comfortable position to actually enjoy myself for a little while without worrying all the days.

In the mean time, I'll keep applying to other opportunities just in case I didn't get the job from today, and I'll continue to focus on my ever growing Twitch stream as I have the time to do so. I've managed to get sponsorship for my stream, so I look forward to hopefully seeing an increase in viewers and I hardly even know what to say I'm SO EXCITED ABOUT IT!!!

Some days are better than others. Life will always have ups and downs, but I know that a balance will be reached in time. As with everything else, it all takes patience. Have an awesome day everybody!

I Don't Know What To Do With Myself

I hardly know what to do. There's so much I want to talk about, but there's nobody I want to talk about it with. I'm worried that I'm not going to be able to pay rent in the future. I'm worried that by the time I'm able to get another job, I'll be too far in debt to do anything about it. There's so much more that I want to talk about, but I'm not ready to talk about it because I just don't know.

So here I am giving my hands something to do. They need something to do. Something good to do. Maybe some people don't find this productive, but I think it helps. I don't really have much of importance to say if anything right now. I hardly feel like this is worth posting, but I'm going to anyways.

One one hand I'm really happy about some things that are happening right now. On the other hand, I'm really sad about other things that are happening. I'm sure it'll all sort itself out in time. I just don't know how exactly I'm supposed to be feeling right now. I want to be doing my own thing, but I have to get myself a job, and I'm trying to be a good friend all at the same time. Ugh............................. Make the stress go away. Perhaps a massage... or a puppy... anything. I'm thinking the puppy.

If I manage to get myself a good job and don't have any reason not to in the near future... I'm going to get myself a puppy. Then I won't need to worry about anything else. I'll just be able to feel better about everything by having snuggles all the time every night. Snuggles are awesome. I need more snuggles. I need less stress and more snuggles... and I guess I need patience in my life. It's so hard to be patient, but somehow there has to be some somewhere. Everything will get better when everyone and everything is patient. I just hope life doesn't wait too long to get back to awesomeness.

Work Update

I haven't posted anything for a while. I'm sorry for that. I've been so busy with work lately having 30+ hours per week. It's been really nice living on my own, working, and paying my own rent. I finally feel capable of living on my own. I'm finally independent. It's quite nice.

Unfortunately... work decided it would be a good idea to merge the service desks into one location. On one hand, it's a nicer spot, and it's much easier having everybody in one spot where we can support each other and handle any issues and customers better. On the other hand... our hours have been cut.

Now don't get me wrong. I understand that they're probably trying to save money by cutting hours and having everything be more efficient... I just don't really get why they would hire more people right before cutting hours. Especially the lady who drives an hour to work every day. It just seems a little bit odd to me.

So it'll be back to job-searching for me. I'm not necessarily looking to quit my job at Sears. I mean... they gave me my first job here in Moose Jaw, and I really like working for them and the people I work with. But I suppose I should probably search for either another part-time job, or a replacement full-time job if possible. Here's hoping everything goes well. I see brightness in the future.

A Good Week

I haven't had much time to do anything else in the past week other than work, but I have to say it's been pretty nice actually making some money. So far, I've really enjoyed my new job; everyone I work with is really nice. Everybody is super awesome and easy to talk to. I've only had a couple customers so far who haven't seemed to be in the best of moods, but other than that, I'm really enjoying it. Even though talking to people all day is really tiring for me, I do enjoy helping people get through their day and I hope that just a simple smile and good mood might make their day.

I don't have much to talk about at the moment. Not a lot of things have happened; which I would have to say is pretty nice at this point. I'm enjoying the quiet and the lack of events going on. Some people like having things going on all the time, but I prefer to not have much going on. I'm not really concerned about what exactly I want at the moment. I'm just enjoying the time to myself and hopefully enough time to work on the things that I want to work on.

Here's hoping we can get some videos uploaded in the next few days! ^_^

I haven't posted for a while.

I'm sorry I haven't posted anything for a while. I've been so busy looking for work and working on something special coming up. I don't want to give away what it is, yet... I hope to have it done in the next couple days. I have to record it and edit it and whatnot... and then it'll be out there for the world to see. I have to admit, I'm a little nervous about this thing I'm working on. It's definitely something I've never done before and it would putting myself out there even more than this blog is.

So here's hoping it goes well. Wish me luck and all that. I want to write more, but I'm actually so excited and nervous about this that I have no idea what else to say. Hopefully I'll get it done in the next couple days, then I'll have a post about it.

I guess I could tell everybody the good news. I got my first interview in Moose Jaw today... and managed to get a job. Yay! Oh how happy I am about that. I'll still need to get another job to actually save money, but at least I won't have to worry about paying my rent for a while now.

That's my update for today. Look forward to seeing some more blog posts and some YouTube videos posted in the near future! ^_^

Waiting For The Time To Go By

At this point in time, yeah, I'm looking for a job, but I'm not in a hurry. Right now, I'm quite happy to take things slowly. Now that I've had the time to slow down and think about things for a bit, I can definitively say that I much prefer to take things slowly. I feel like in the past while (not sure how long exactly), things have been flying by. It's nice to finally be able to sit down and have some time to myself where things aren't trying to race by.

Sure, I'd like to have a job RIGHT NOW, but at the same time... I'm happy that it's not happening RIGHT AWAY. I think I've needed this time to slow down and figure out what I want. Do I definitely know one hundred percent what I want right now? No, of course not. I do know that I want to be able to focus on myself one step at a time and figure things out. Take the time to get back in touch with friends I haven't taken the time to talk to in a long time. And more importantly... take the time to get back in touch with myself.

I shouldn't have to be so worried about what someone else thinks. I only have to worry about what I think. Am I happy with myself? Do I like my choices? Where do I want to see myself? Those are the important questions I should be thinking about rather than things like: What does he or she think of me? Or what if that person thinks I'm weird?

So now is my time to focus on myself. I'm using this as an excuse to get more into writing seeing as I like sharing my words with whomever takes the time to read them. I'm also using this as a time to relax and be comfortable with myself. I'd like to start reading some of my books again like I used to every night. I'd like to start playing my violin again... maybe learn to play some cool things. Now is my time to be me.
